Humans For Animals

TBWA Paris is the advertising agency behind this shocking and bizzare campaign for "Humans For Animals". The campaign shocked me when I saw it first. Now this could draw a parallel to lots of other work that aim to send the message across by shocking the viewer. Would this campaign change anything in the way you think about animals??

Some one on another blog had a better idea: show the animals in the human's habitat killing them. It's a better comparison to what we do to the animals, plus, if a sea lion found a baby on the tundra, it WOULD kill it.

This is a wonderful campain and I wished we would see each critical animal situation "the other way round"......

I think it is totally against the cause. Animals are not brutal in vain. This is exactly what a brainless advertiser would come up after 30 minutes of thinking: let's say animals are just like us. Or even worse: "what if the animal intrudes my own little life the way I do?"

The action is unacceptable, not who is the one that does it.
