Shocking Enough??

These 2 extremely graphic pieces of communication are for the Nicolas Hulot Foundation. The agency behind this campaign is CLM BBDO, Paris.

For those of you interested, The Nicolas Hulot Foundation is a non-profit organisation that was founded in 1990 and makes young people and adults aware of the riches and the fragility of our natural heritage and supports concrete initiatives in aid of the environment in a move for sustainable development.

It is the only state-approved French Foundation to act in the field of education about the environment, the Fondation is authorized to receive donations. More @ www.fondation-nicolas-hulot.org

What's up with all these advertisers thinking that showing dead animals is going to increase their visibility.
To me - I look at these and think...why would anyone put a Cheetah in a dryer - they are clearly dry clean only. Seriously though, it is starting to get to be a little much - once we are desensitized to this approach, what's next, babies smoking crack? Someone beating a bag of cats with a hammer? In my opinion it is time to move away fom dead animals. I don't want to have to explain them to my nephews!

Cheers,
