Yellow Circle from Singapore

Dentsu Young & Rubicam in Singapore made this print ad for Hachi Tei Restaurant. The headline reads "BREAKFAST SERVED DAILY". I am assuming that the yellow circle represents an egg yolk, can anybody confirm if that is the idea?

It is basically the Japanese flag, with an yellow circle instead of red.

I think "daily" is the keyword... So I presume the yellow circle is the sun... I may be wrong...

From the name I think it's a japanese restaurant. So the idea of replacing the middle circle with egg yolk made sense. Just to link japanese symbol with breakfast.
