GOT A FLAT IDEA?

Here's a flat screen television ad by BETC Euro RSCG for Packard Bell that I don't understand at all. What's the idea here??

it's a flat screen monitor ad. Top angle shot makes the flat screen appear like a thin line. Easy.

Hi CIPHER!!! I think that I understand it. The screen is so flat that this disapears when it's looked in lateral views. It's like a paper. Very, very, very flat.

Bye.

my guess is that since the technology is converging....a TV which is like a computer screen

Probably it's so flat that you can't see it from above.

The idea may be that the flat screen is so flat and slim that, seen from above, it is invisible.

The idea seems to be that the screen is so flat that it becomes invisible from above (it's not an ad for a TV but for a computer screen, right?).

The screen is very thin so that it is difficult to see it from this angle.

It's so flat that you can't see it from above. So I think it's a nice idea.

The flat screen is so flat that you cannot see it from the top.

The flat screen is so flat that you cannot see it from the top. Very creative and subtle. Like you had mentioned in the queen's bathroom ad, this is for very intelligent people.

Well, the idea here is that, the monitor is so thin that, you cannot see it when you are looking at it from the top.
Similar to one of the slim digital camera ads that you posted sometime back, where the cam was hidden behind the finger.
This one goes one step ahead.

Yawn. This over exagerration of product benefits has become to much lately. I'm so tired of this kind of ideas. Flast screens has become the new "Landrover".
