The Ogilvy Belgium Copy Test!?

These 2 ads for Ford's New Ranger XLT have been doing the rounds across the advertising blogosphere for a few days now. I recently bumped into this post by Coolzor that reveals that these ads by Ogilvy, Belgium might not be as original as they seem because exactly the same idea has been done before in 1999 for the launch of the 607 from Peugeot! The agency behind the Peugeot is unknown though.

Here's the 1999 ad that was done by Peugeot. Saints v/s Sinners, Anybody got anything more to say??

Braun Dry!

The Immortal One!

An interesting print campaign for Duracell Rechargable Batteries. I would have probably written a headline without a negative word like die but then...I guess that was taken into account by the team too.

Eat Eat Eat Eat!

Thanks to Woei Hern from Dentsu Malaysia for sending in this cute ad for Kampo, a health aid that helps you eat better!

Small Ass for Sale!

Harmony Returns!

Another campaign for Harmony, the magazine for Senior Citizens. This print campaign tries to promote their website, www.harmonyindia.org. You can see their previous print campaign here!

Veja Type II

Veja, the magazine from Brazil is back with it's latest typo campaign. Their last campaign was a roaring success across the advertising world winning loads of metal in several ad fests. Now, this campaign for me is a bit of a let down though it still is great work.
The expectations after their previous campaign were so high that even the best of work was in danger of being slotted as average. i might be biased, I'd love to know your opinion on this one!

Candy Land!!

I don't really know if Ogilvy & Mather, Singapore shot this campaign for Perfetti or if this was done on photoshop but it's an idea that comes like a wave of fresh air. To be honest, I did think of Sony Bravia for a second but then, that's just natural. This campaign also won at the Asia Pacific Ad Fest. Great work and if this was really shot, then I'm sure it must have been an experience like no other! VIA

Long Copy for VW!

A really nice print ad for the VW Phaeton. If I were to read this ad in a magazine, I'd find it hard to forget. Nice work!

Henko Tricks!

A campaign for Henko Stain Champion by Mudra, Communications. This is quite a tricky one. The instance you bring these ads to your eye, the mountain and the trees vanish but take them a little away from your eye and you see them again. The same might work if you half close your eyes but then, does today's consumer have enough time to do all that?

Brain Art

This is an ad for the Museum of Art in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I think the point here is that art is knowledge or Art creates Wisdom, etc...may be a different interpretation but a similar thought.

Flying Belt by Seiko.

An ad for SEIKO by GMASCO Communications, Dubai. The copy reads 'Now also available at Dubai Duty Free'. VIA

help!!

This was a campaign done for Lynx Deodorant a few years ago. If anybody knows the name of the Blue and Pink instrument in the girl's hand in the Brazil frame, it would help me in a campaign we're trying to do. If anybody does, please help by leaving a comment. I wish there was somebody who could. Thanks for the help. Cheers!

Spectacular Harmony from Mudra DDB

Superb! I really think the copy and emotions captured in the words of this campaign for Harmony, a magazine for senior citizens above 55 is spectacular. It reminds of the Indian Express by Freddy Birdy & Naved Akthar ages ago. Not a surprising fact that both are from Mudra. This one is sure to pull a chord or leave a lump in your throat...splendid work, the writer must be a genius. If you know the credits, please help.

The World at Sea!

Thanks to Melvin Jacob from TBWA for sending in this campaign done by David, India. Love the art in these ads, reminds me of a sci-fi thriller!

The Air India Maharaja

A series of 5 different ads for various offers featuring the Air India Maharaja done by Mudra.

Kids For Sale!

A public service campaign for a NGO called NDWM in Mumbai, India. The style of execution is one that we'v'e seen before though.

Van Helsing by Mudra!

Desi HBO!

I really like the way this campaign by Mudra for HBO reflects the true spirit of how India looks at Hollywood Movies! To be honest, most of us here would believe that this is a campaign for MTV. It's got a very non serious, kitsch feel to it but does grab attention well.

Stains Are History!

A new campaign from Mudra Communications for Henko. I somehow think that there is a great idea here but it hasn't been pushed to its best yet.

A high-rise Shark!

To promote its Shark Week, airing July 30 - August 4, Discovery Channel has hung a 446 foot long inflatable shark atop its Silver Spring, MD building. They're calling it the biggest Shark Week stunt ever. To accompany the inflatable shark, street teams with pun-filled names like Bight University Chewleaders, will roam the streets of New York. VIA

Superman is BACK!

An interesting guerilla idea for the launch of Superman Returns in Antwerp. I think the agency is Duval Guillame. Can anybody confirm that?

A Taekwando School Somewhere!
