Ouch! These really know how to grab you by your collar! A series of posters for a public service client called "The Sisterhood Collective" done by an agency called Brand Curry in Delhi, India. I really think these grab attention but its like attention without any effect. A nude woman on any piece of communcation would do the same! Does anybody have any other opinions on this one? Dowry - a DIRTY word!

I think the message is clear here ... they are OK with writing all the abusive words but Dowry! But as you said, the effect (read message) might be lost on some ...
i think its a great ad, but it might put some people off. secondly, can one release an ad like this in say.. the times? is the use of such words allowed?
thirdly, the use of "desi galis" would have been preferable. more appropriate for the TA i think.
i thought it said DAIRY
