Big Bazaar - Surprisingly Inexpensive!



Real life people, real life situations and really inexpensive stuff that almost anybody can buy...the theme behind this campign by Mudra DDB Communications is quite simple and straight forward. The only place where it may falter is the fact that most of us are tired of being ourselves and we'd rather dream away and be somebody or something else (which is why we have great models and celebs who make products aspirational). Any of you think these ads don't work?

they should have taken some examples from themiddle class..i find this ad not funny and not even pointing to somewhere..

It also makes me wonder if i wud go to a place where the chaiwaalah and the press wallah r coming to shop dressed in thier usual way...I may sound rude,,but its practical..

the idea of buying from Big Bazaar I thought was buying stuff at low prices but feeling like I was moving upwards, I am going to a mall for god's sake! This might drive the big bazaar brand down.

Also, these types of executions for surprisingly inexpensive route
is done to death.

i've seen a ditto campaign for HEAL (a shopping mall) summer sale done by DDB, london. the campaign is in the latest EPICA awards book.

When doing low down, pseudo-amateuristic advertising one have to twist it much more. This is just plain boring.

I loved those ads, found them humorous. Yeah, working class people, who live next to or in the bazar, can afford middle class appliances and luxuries from Big Bazaar.
