Advertising that's as dead as a DOG!

Clemenger BBDO, Adelaide, Australia did this ad for its self promotion. Something that really shocked me when I first saw it. It's really hard to understand how one could do this! Really unethical and purely unthoughtful. Sad.

Are they saying our ads are so grabbing u won't realise a car crushed ur dog? Or is it something else? I dont quite get this.

This ad is so versatile: its both dumb and disgusting.
One can be "shocking" without being obscene. This is not the type of campain to use this type of shock value in.
