NHS Erection!

There have probably been more effective ads using the erectile dysfunction theory in regards to anti-smoking advertising but this ad by AMV BBDO in UK grabs attention instantly. PS: I always thought the message of this ad was a myth to fear men into quitting...well, I know it's a reality now.

Road Roller for Kenstar!

This one is a bit of a scam but I still wonder who would look for communication on a Road Roller! This Guerilla Effort by Quadrant Communications was desired to showcase the ironing powers of the Kenstar Iron Box!

Central Square by Rediffusion, Delhi

Rediffusion DY&R, Delhi created the city's well known landmarks out of the barcode. The headline juxtaposes the visual. In the very centre of Delhi - where the parliament and presidents estate are - a new landmark comes up - Central Square, a world class business district and the capital's most coveted business address.

HUMO Consequences!

HUMO, the Flemish Magazine has always been very experimental and interesting with all its advertising campaigns. Their last effort was mixing cultures, a campaign you can see here. Their current campaign tells viewers about the serious consequences reading HUMO can have. I think the platform is a brilliant one and can be extended across several interesting variations. Great work here.

Chloromint Ice Spec Campaign

Sanjeet Wallia from Mudra, Delhi sent in these two spec ads for Chlormint Ice from his portfolio. He'd like to know what you guys think of them. I see an idea that can be pushed further, the execution can be spruced up too. Thanks Sanjeet!

Benchmade Adventure Gear!

Swamp Stingers, Saber Clawed Bats and Fanged Giant Creepers...all a part of this bizzare campaign by Leo Burnett, Thailand for the Benchmade Brand of Adventure Gear. The promise here is that Benchmade makes the finest gear so that nothing (not even the most dangerous things on the planet) should stop you from seeking adventure.

Nike Paris!

A cool ad for a new Nike Store on the Champs-Elysees by DDB Paris. The attitude of the ad really rocks!

Dominate Hair Wax!

Colenso BBDO in New Zealand thinks that these ads would convince their TG to buy Dominate Hair Wax. The only thing they make me do is wanna go puke! Sorry but these ads just make me feel that way! I wish they work for the brand.

Product: Dominate Hair Wax >> Agency: Colenso BBDO, New Zealand >> Creatives: Richard Maddocks (Creative Director) >> David Govier (Copywriter) >> Levi Slavin (Art Director) >> Design/Retouch: Simon Redwood

EVIL or LIVE?

Product : Matichon Magazine & Newspapaer >> Agency : Dentsu (Thailand) Ltd. >> Copywriter : Napapatch Kantasil >> Art Director : Thongrob Chantarak >> Photographer : Chatchada Jankhaew

Elevator at Gold's Gym!

A very interesting execution and very clever use of medium by Quadrant Communications, India. Stickers showing two muscular arms were pasted outside the lift doors. Another sticker showing the torso of the body builder with arms stretched was pasted on the inside of the lift wall. When the lift door opened, the arms parted and looked as if the man is forcing the door open. A sure winner for sheer power of the idea!

Atlas ATB by Leo Burnett!

Why do I get a sense of deja vu when I see this campaign for Atlas ATB by Leo Burnett, New Delhi (All Terrain Bicycles). May be it has to be the technique that's been done before. Or may be this campaign is just similar to something else.

By the way, I'm guessing that this is the kind of campaign tthatt might mean different ideas to different people. The idea for me is since these are All Terrain, the mud, rocks and sand are visual depictions. What's your take on it, interpret it any other way?

Renault Automobiles!

A very nice campaign for Renault Automobiles by Publicis, Frankfurt in Germany. Crisp, clean Art Direction and some good photography too.

Virus Race Snowboards by DDB Berlin!

SoL Beer from Brazil!

A series of 4 ads and one media innovation in magazines for SOL Beer by Fischer América, São Paulo, Brazil. A very refreshing campaign here! Wish the beer is just as great. Thanks to Daniel Coelho and Arturo De Albornoz for the info.

Advertising Campaign??

I would love to know more details about this campaign by Almap BBDO in Sao Paulo, Brazil. If any of you have any details as to who the client is, leave a comment. Cheers!

The Reader's Book Shop!

Maps, Maps and more Maps...I think Maps are the next equivalent to Swiss Knives or Russian Dolls in advertising. So many campaigns that have just over-used the concept that they just don't appeal anymore! And even then, we keep seeing more of them everyday. Maybe the jury at the Cannes has an instant appeal for them??
